6 June 2025

Once we arrived yesterday for Fledge Watch at Schenley Plaza, we might inform that each one three juveniles had flown(*). None have been seen on the digicam or nestrail and although I walked across the Cathedral of Studying on the lookout for fledglings, none have been seen wherever. It was scorching.

At midday we observed a juvenile silently perched within the shade underneath the CL tourcam. It was Blue Woman. I noticed her blue tape via my scope. She preened and generally opened her wings, a movement that claims, “Right here I’m, dad and mom, in case you wish to carry meals.” If she was actually hungry she would have whined.

A couple of minutes later we noticed Carla feeding a juvenile on the alternative nook at 38SE.

Now that the juvenile peregrines are arduous to seek out, Fledge Watch is over.

(*) My guess on after they flew: One or two most likely fledged on the afternoon of 4 June and the rest yesterday morning 5 June.
