At prime, what moth is that this at Frick Park on Thursday? Google Lens offers so many solutions that I’m not positive which one to choose.
Under, not-a-moth that is an end-banded netwing beetle (Calopteron terminale). Most, however not all photographs, present a black band within the center too.

An outdated spider internet is draped like a curtain on a twig and stinging nettle in Frick Park.

After I received again to my automobile there was a weevil on the window (sure, my automobile is soiled). I don’t know what species.

Aphids have been sucking the juices out of Schenley Park’s false sunflowers for a couple of month now. Our abnormally dry climate makes the crops much less juicy.

Reminder! I’ll be main an outing at Schenley Park tomorrow, 31 August, ranging from the Schenley Park Guests Heart at 8:30am. Extra data right here.
Are you able to see the hawk? We’ll search for him tomorrow. He was watching close to Panther Hole Lake yesterday.
