The Nationwide Pig Farmers Union introduced the rating of the most important producers of pigs for slaughter in Russia on the finish of 2024.
Based on the score, Miratorg retained its main place producing 868.8 thousand tons of stay weight pigs for slaughter in 2024, which accounted for 14.8% of whole industrial manufacturing within the Russian Federation.
Rusagro Group took second place with 593.3 thousand tons and 10.1% of whole manufacturing. It needs to be famous that the corporate has considerably elevated manufacturing volumes (from 334,000 tons in 2023 to 593,300 tons in 2024), which allowed it to rise from the third place to the second.
Sibagro moved right down to the third with 440.8 thousand tons and seven.5%.
It’s adopted by Velikoluksky Pig Farming Complicated with 400.1 thousand tons and 6.8%, with Cherkizovo Group closing out the highest 5 with 335.5 thousand tons and 5.7% of the full manufacturing of pigs for slaughter within the Russian Federation.
Based on the introduced rating, the highest 20 pork firms produce nearly 80% of the full quantity.
