Yesterday’s nice horned owl outing in Schenley Park was an amazing success. Greater than 25 folks received to see the nest and the mom owl. Close to the tip of our go to one owlet poked up its head however we have been gone by the point it stood up and gave Dana Nesiti this beautiful view, above.
We additionally trooped down the trail to seek out the daddy owl who’s so camouflaged at his roost that we needed to sit or crouch to see his face. I set my scope fairly low to digiscope two pictures.

Dana and I weren’t shocked to see just one child owl. On Thursday 27 February an owlet fell from the nest and was rescued by Sarah Mateskovich & WIN. It was taken to Tamarack Wildlife Middle the place they decided it had a minor harm to its beak.
